Hockey is more fun with friends. Team events through the season help our players gel off the ice — starting with a season kickoff party.
🎉 Season Kickoff Party
Before the first puck drops, we'll get the whole team together — players, siblings, and parents — to meet each other, hand out jerseys, and kick off the season right.
Date & venue: TBD. We're deciding between two great options below — a poll will go out to families once the roster is set. Have a preference or a connection at a local spot? Tell the coaching staff!
🛼 Option 1: Roller Rink
Open skate session for the team. Skating is skating — it's on-theme, active, and a blast for this age group.
- Good for: keeping the crew moving; rentals available for everyone
- Format: 2-hour private or open session, pizza after
- Bonus: sneaky crossover practice on wheels 😄
🎳 Option 2: Bowling
Lanes, shoes, and friendly competition. Easy for all ages and abilities, and parents can hang out and get to know each other too.
- Good for: mixed ages, siblings welcome, weather-proof
- Format: 2 hours of bowling, team vs. team, snacks between frames
- Bonus: coaches vs. kids grudge match 🏆
